HUNTINGDON - The Huntingdon County commissioners have fired EMA Director John Cirko. According to Huntingdon County Chief Clerk Michelle Barnett, Cirko was terminated Tuesday at the commissioner's meeting. She said she was unable to discuss the reasoning behind the termination. Cirko has been the EMA director for the county since 2015. Barnett said that Chris Stevens is the acting director and that the position is posted on the county's website.
