HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — There is a unique problem in the Huntingdon Area School District. School officials say its music department "doesn't have enough instruments to go around" as nearly the entire fourth grade class at the Southside Elementary School signed up for band next school year. On Wednesday, the school district held a "walk-a-thon" to raise money for more instruments. Southside Elementary School Director Rick Kane says the walk started at midnight in Huntingdon Borough and continued during the day until participants made it to one-hundred-thousand steps.

SOMERSET, Pa. (WJAC) — Somerset County's president judge has ruled that District Attorney Jeff Thomas can no longer conduct his duties as the chief prosecutor of the county in the courthouse, while an out-of-county senior judge agreed to dismiss a protection from abuse order filed by the victim of the sexual assault case against him. The motions come two days after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Counsel suspended Thomas' law license indefinitely while the legal proceedings against him play out.

Teams around the league had until 4 p.m. Tuesday to make the necessary roster moves. Among the Steelers' notable roster cuts includes the release of tight end Zach Gentry.
