CLEARFIELD CO, Pa (WJAC) — One person was injured Tuesday when a truck lost a tire that crashed through the windshield of a car on Interstate 80, fire officials said. According to the Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company, crews were called to the crash, which happened near mile marker 116. Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Lawrence Township police department say a Clearfield County businessman is facing charges, accused of "grooming" one his former teenage employees. According to the affidavit, the victim's mother filed a report in early October stating that she believed that her 17-year-old daughter was being "groomed" by 39-year-old Kevin Legenski, the owner of Uncle Buck's Creations. Police say the teen's mother told investigators that she had reportedly found numerous messages between the two, suggesting that they had been engaged in some sort of relationship.
CLERMONT, Fla. (TND) — A man wanted on three arrest warrants has been back behind bars for a week after a sheriff's deputy reported getting “information of a possible vehicle being driven by Justin Wohlgemuth.” That deputy and a few other officers went to a home in Florida last Thursday night, May 23, and saw Wohlgemuth getting ready to leave. “The defendant visually observed law enforcement and was given commands to surrender,” the arrest report said.
University Park, PA (WJAC) — Penn State University officials say the decision was made earlier this week to "indefinitely" suspend the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity following an alleged hazing investigation. University officials say the investigation revealed "widespread and pervasive" hazing that had occurred for several years. Authorities say the fraternity was given an interim suspension in late September and their attempted appeal was denied. The university says the fraternity was previously suspended in 2018, for similar violations, and the most recent investigation showed that the hazing had continued.
