INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Longtime NFL quarterback Philip Rivers has decided to retire after playing one season with the Indianapolis Colts.
His decision at age 39 comes less than two weeks after the Colts suffered a 27-24 loss at Buffalo in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
Rivers spent his first 16 seasons with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers after they acquired him in a draft-day trade that sent Eli Manning to the New York Giants in 2004.
(WJAC) — A man retrieving a deer after hunting Saturday died after his ATV overturned.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said 56-year-old Justin E. Lieb, from Nicktown, Cambria County, died due to blunt-force trauma after his ATV overturned on a steep incline.
Lees said Lieb went home to get his Yamaha Grizzly ATV after harvesting a deer Saturday morning and was returning to the woods when the crash happened.
Lieb’s family became worried after he didn’t return home that evening and called officials, who found Lieb in the woods near Double Dam Road, Susquehanna Township.

DETROIT (AP) — Nissan is urging the owners of about 84,000 older vehicles to stop driving them because their Takata air bag inflators have an increased risk of exploding in a crash and hurling dangerous metal fragments.
Wednesday's urgent request comes after one person in a Nissan was killed by an exploding front-passenger inflator, and as many as 58 people were injured since 2015.
Due to the age of the vehicles equipped with defective Takata air bag inflators, there is an increased risk the inflator could explode during an air bag deployment, propelling sharp metal fragments which can cause serious injury or death,"
BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A New Jersey murder suspect is in custody after fleeing from police during an attempted traffic stop in Bedford Township, Bedford County, Saturday evening, state police said.
According to a criminal complaint, the incident occurred just after 5 p.m. when a trooper merging onto US 220 observed a vehicle approaching him from behind at a high rate of speed.
State police said the vehicle changed lanes multiple times without using turn signals and passed the trooper at a speed higher than the posted speed limit.
Westmoreland County, PA — Authorities in Westmoreland County have identified the woman whose body was found in a local pond earlier this month.
The county coroner's office says 34-year-old Kele Diane Townsend was found on the afternoon of Nov. 6th, in the area of Broadview Road in New Stanton.
Investigators say they used medical and dental records, tattoos and jewelry in order to identify her.
Officials say Townsend's cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
BRADFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Emergency officials say Route 322 was closed Saturday afternoon in Clearfield County because people were trapped in a crash.
According to Hope Fire Company, the two-vehicle crash happened on Woodland Bigler Highway near McDowell Road in Bradford Township.
Crews reported heavy entrapment in both vehicles.
Route 322 was closed between the Bigler light at Minit Mart and the Woodland light at Gio’s as crews worked to extricate the vehicles' occupants.

SOMERSET CO, Pa (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is asking consumers to discard Moo Echo Dairy products purchased in Somerset and Westmoreland Counties, due to the products not being properly pasteurized, according to a release.
