Many of our seniors already missed their 2020 high school graduations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s our intention to make sure they have a ceremony that is positive, inspiring, and reflects their resilience.
HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Dairyman's Association announced a new Black Raspberry flavored milkshake that will be served at the 2022 PA Farm Show.
Black Raspberry will be offered alongside the usual milkshake flavors, Vanilla, Chocolate and a mix.
People can try the new flavor when the Farm Show Food Court opens January 7 at noon.
In addition to milkshakes, the Dairymen will offer:

The Somerset County man held on a Caribbean island after facing charges for having ammunition in his luggage was sentenced Friday.
Bryan Hagerich of Somerset faced up to 12 years in prison under Turks and Caicos gun laws.
He had been held there since February after he was caught with hunting ammunition in his luggage that he says he forgot was there.
Friday, a judge announced a 52-month suspended sentence for Hagerich along with his release.
WASHINGTON (TCS) — Grades of F overall, and in each of five specific areas with active hot-button issues, were given by a North Carolina congresswoman chairing a committee hearing with Education Department Secretary Miguel Cardona.
Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., greeted him nicely, reminding him how she welcomed a leader of his qualifications when he was confirmed. Then, the chairwoman of the Committee on Education and Workforce in the U.S. House of Representatives, in roughly eight minutes, gave description of ineptitude and failing for both K-12 and post-secondary education.
The American Red Cross said it critically needs blood and platelet donors now following a concerning decrease in donations as the country has experienced an increase in severe weather systems and historic travel.
In fact, during the past month, about 20,000 fewer blood donations were collected than needed to maintain the Red Cross national blood supply.
According to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), five of the busiest travel days ever happened this month and more record-breaking travel is expected this summer — a busy time when many regular donors may be unable to give.
UPDATE | CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Bellefonte Borough police chief Shawn Weaver has reportedly resigned amidst controversary surrounding the police department.
Two other officers recently resigned from the force, and a third retired in January.
Bellefonte Borough Council met Monday night, however, the borough's police situation was reportedly not addressed.
In the past, the Bellefonte police force has included upwards of ten to twelve officers.
The now former police chief had served in the role since 2006.
WILDWOOD, Fla. (TND) — A man accused of visiting four bank branches and cashing forged checks had quite a story for deputies in the months before his eventual arrest.
First, Franklin Bobby Hogans went to a bank in Florida on Jan. 5 and “presented the bank teller with the check made out to himself in the amount of $2,200 by [a construction company],” according to a detective’s affidavit for an arrest warrant.
HARRISBURG - History was made in the state once again this year.
On Thursday at the Pennsylvania Game Commission headquarters, officials said a trophy whitetail rack shattered the previous record in the Typical Archery category in state records.
Ron Shaulis, of West Newton, Pennsylvania, harvested the trophy buck on Oct. 24 with a compound bow on public land in Westmoreland County. The rack had a net score of 185-4/8, which surpasses the previous record of 178-2/8 from a buck harvested in Allegheny County in 2004.
Central Cambria school district is looking to cut costs after an appraisal on the taxable real estate at the Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) Fairview powerplant in Jackson Township was estimated five times too high.
The district collected taxes from the powerplant based on the high estimate, and that led to the district owing the powerplant about $3.7 million over the next three years officials said.
Superintendent at Central Cambria Jason Moore said Jackson is one of their elementary schools, and a feasibility study is being done to see if combining Jackson Elementary with Cambria Elementary is best for the district.
