GARRETT, Pa. (WJAC) — UPDATE: State police say a standoff began around 9 p.m. when a trooper noticed Steve Burns in a garage along Jackson Street. Burns had a warrant out for domestic violence and a DUI. Police say when the trooper pulled up to the garage, Burns and a woman, later identified as Kelly Fairgrieve, who is wanted in Maryland for escape and obstruction of justice, ran into the house and refused to come out.

JENNERSTOWN - Jenner Township Assistant Fire Chief Mike Novak is calling Corey’s Corral in Somerset County a total loss after an overnight fire. Fire crews were called to the bar around 2:10 a.m. Friday. The bar had closed less than one hour before the crews arrived on scene. Officials said there was no one inside the two-story structure when the fire started. Novak said it took eight different fire crews to help put out the flames.
